Formed in 1930 as St Albans Morris Men, we have been dancing the Cotswold tradition in and around Hertfordshire for over eighty years. In 2016, we welcomed women members for the first time, becoming St Albans Morris.
Find us throughout the summer, dancing out at pubs, fairs and festivals, or join us in the winter as we welcome new dancers and polish and extend our repertoire.
Who’s Who
The Squire – Nigel Moorcroft – email
The squire is the chair of our side and, as such, is responsible for all that we do: the dances in our repertoire, the sets that we perform when we dance out and the standards we present.
The Foreman – Bob Combes – email
The foreman takes responsibility for teaching our dances. If you are interested in dancing the Morris with us, contact the foreman.
The Bagman – Trevor Adams – email
The bagman acts as secretary to the side and co-ordinates our bookings. If you would like to book us for your event, contact the bagman.
The Treasurer – Bob Combes – email
The treasurer looks after our finances. Feel free to contact our treasurer should you want to give us any money.
