One of the nice things about having a club that’s been around for a long time is that you develop a number of little traditional activities.
Christmas is a particularly traditional time of year.
Day of Dance
For the Met Office August 31 marks the end of summer, for us it’s our day of dance on the last Saturday of September. That’s today!

Mayor at May Day
There’s a nice article in the local paper, the Review. The Mayor certainly seemed to enjoy herself, as we did! Look at the second picture for further evidence of that.
Summer starts here!
New season approaching and the new site in the making. We will be adding to this as the year continues.
Come and join us on May morning (Thursday 1st May) at 6am outside the Old Town Hall along with around 30 hardy spectators, the Mayor and random delivery drivers, council workers etc.
Easter on the Green
Our traditional ‘pre-season friendly‘, Easter on the (Welham) Green (it must be traditional, we did it last year). We danced for the crowds on the village green in brisk conditions and led some young and not so young people in a merry dance.
